century coming up this weekend.

13. I bought

14. along the lines of sentences that start with "I bought..."

desoto 400 mile shorts ^^

speedo vanquishers ^^

blue seventy goggles ^^
15. took today off work to do everything I've been meaning to do but haven't had time thanks to 5+ hour bike rides: hair cut, hair color, laundry, grocery shopping, manicure, pedicure, clean house, water plants.

  1. Nice looking shorts you got there! I know exactly what you mean by too soon yet too far. Hang in there girlie, you are one dedicated chica and will richly reap the fruit of your labor come December.Go Trishie, go!

  2. *groan* 4500 yds, that IS tough. I've got a 4200 yd pool swim next week but I've done most of my long ones in OW - it's easier mentaly :)

Great job! It IS coming up fast!

  3. im with you on #12, it's getting darker earlier and that makes me unhappy. I run the best in the AM, and waiting till 7AM just limits how long you can go. Im ready for daylight savings time already.

  4. You are doing such a great job. Keep it up!Looks like you have lots of riding the next few weeks, just have fun with it.

Let me know how Born to run is, Ihave that on my to read list.

  5. I think white anything in tris is a bad idea. Glad you took a day "off" to get to do some of the simple things in life.

  6. i have one of those days off too.

52 days. it does seem close, yet far!

  7. I saw the link to your blog on BT! Sounds like your training is going great. I have IMAZ coming up soon & with 45 days out, I need to write a to-do list too! Cozumel will be such a fun race, what a great destination! I hope the rest of your training goes well. You are almost there! Sally (riorio on BT)

  8. 6. When do you have time to watch TV?? Now me, I'm a Survivor kind of guy. :) After all that's what we are going to do in a few weeks, I hope..

  9. You are rocking it Trish, so happy for you. Some DVR suggestions for those long ass bike rides:
    Sons of Anarchy
    It's always sunny in Philidelphia
Road Rules Vs Real World - The Ruins
    Modern Family
Split Ends (hair cutting reality show)
    Chelsea Lately

  10. I want some of the blue seventy goggles. Way to keep on truckin!

  11. man, you're getting close! excited for ya!

  12. Enjoy the final weeks, they were my favorite part of training and they fly by so quickly!

  13. Sounds like you're on track! By the way, I LOVE my Vanquishers. Had 'em two years now and zero probs. Of course, now that I said that, they'll break tomorrow...

  14. looks like things are going well! can't believe its getting so close for you already! exhaustion is normal. Ironman brain abounds this close to the race :) you'll be surprise how much you miss it when its over. go girl! can't wait to see you become an ironwoman :)

  15. I am getting so excited for you! I know what it is like when you need to take a day off for those little things. Some times I felt like I need time just to pat my dog as he was getting a bit neglected.
